I love these pants. Bought them thinking I would use them for running but they do so much more. Start the day with a dog walk and wear them to work in the office, and they still find time to go for an afternoon run. They stay put, have perfect pockets, and more importantly are so comfy.
These are a nice tight with sold compression. I have been wearing them to run, and they are good. My only reservation is that while they don't fall down (that waistband is the real deal), the non-compressive lower leg fabric does tend to pool at my ankles and I do have to pull it up it a bit as I go, or I start getting a pulling sensation at the knees. Hard to explain, but it's not uncommon for me. Might be better in a smaller size?
There's so much to love about these tights... they stay up, the material is fab, the fit is as described, and the side pockets are deep. The only hiccup for this plus-sized person (and it's not a hiccup big enough to return them) is the seam through the middle of thigh (front and back). It digs in and causes a bit of a 'pillow' bulge on each side. This will not be a problem for most bewildfolx, but I would've chosen a different style for my body type if I was shopping in person. I look forward to my next bewildher tights!
I have the deep woods green pack light because it really LOVE solid size pockets. However I generally dislike leggings, except these. I have bought from Nadine when the brand was called Pokosha and loved those leggings. I still fit in one of them since I gained weight. The product has improved a great deal over the years. I’m very short at just under 5 feet tall and around size 14. Teapot shaped. These pants make me want to be out there and move more. They never sag and don’t roll off the belly. They never drag or cut into my waist. The light compression helps reduce mild back pain and leg cramps. I flipping love these and wore them for 2 weeks straight. I love your work Nadine.
I want to love these tights, mostly because they are made locally and cost me a lot. However, even though I am a small, fit woman they dig into my somewhat generous thighs. I feel self- conscious because of this and will not wear them with the enjoyment I had hoped for. Sadly, it’s back to the big, wealthy yoga retailer for me.
Love the fabric, the stretch, the colour. Love the pockets!!!
The only thing I am not 100 percent in love with is the placement of the anti slip strip. 1) it shows through the pants as a line but hte main thing is 2) the top part above the rubber strip does flip over when doing inversions or forward folds (downward dog etc>) which then means my 'belly' then sort of falls out. I am average weight, but that little "extra somethin somethin" you know around the belly gets emphasized when the pants roll down a bit at the top and press in at that exact worst spot. Wish the rubber strip was placed a little higher up at the top, or maybe even as a second strips. Has this been tried or tested previously?
all in all I give this 4.5 stars.
Love the pack light tights! The compression is great for runs or at the gym, not squat proof, but great for spin or other classes. Love the pockets for when I'm out & about, and the cut is super flattering. Already ordered another pair in black, but love the beautiful green colour!!
I love the fabric, high waist, pockets, and colour of these pack light tights!
The one flaw is the mid-thigh seam - they are a bit tight on me (size 8). They fit perfectly everywhere else, so I don't know if going up a size would have helped. I was sad that the thigh seam ripped the first time I put the tights on.
I bought them because of the pocket on the side for a phone to fit. I use an app for running and my phone battery dies in the cold. I went for an hour run at -1C the other day and my phone stayed warm and working the whole time. Also, the pants stay in place and don’t slip down my waist like others do well running
I found my favourite pair of leggings! Seriously, I don't want to take them off. I really like the colour, the fit, and what the company stands for.
So far I've worn them running in below zero temperatures (they worked great in around -5 deg C), lounging, to yoga, and also as a base layer skiing and snowshoeing. They feel warm but not too warm, actually stay up, and are just so flattering! Also, big plus for the side pockets.
I'm short (5'2"), so the waistband reaches high up (almost all the way up to my sternum), but it's comfortable and I can fold it down. There's some extra fabric around my ankles as well, but I quite like it that way.
Overall I am extremely happy with this pair and will definately be buying more leggings from Bewildher. It's amazing that I can get a good quality product that is also made in Canada, from sustainable fabric, and everyone in the process gets payed well.
